The blanching line involves a controlled heat treatment process that prepares fruits and vegetables for processing such as freezing, canning, or drying while preserving their quality, color, and nutritional value. • Feeding:
Pre-washed products are automatically fed into the blanching unit via a conveyor belt system or screw conveyor.
• Blanching (Heat Treatment):
The products are subjected to heat in a hot water or steam environment for a specific period of time. During this stage, enzymes are inactivated, microbial load is reduced, and the product structure is preserved.
• Time and Temperature Control :
Processing time and temperature are automatically adjusted according to the product type, thus preventing overcooking or loss of quality.
• Cooling:
After blanching, the products are passed through a rapid cooling tunnel to end the heat treatment, thus preserving the ideal consistency and freshness.
• Transfer:
The cooled products are then directed to the next processing stage (freezing, packaging, or filling).
